The site survey allows you to see what your project will look like on location prior to making your final decision and allows us to give you an accurate estimate.
Step 1: Take a straight on picture of the existing sign or project site that can be scaled for a detailed rendering.
Tip: The small difference of taking a few steps back to get a good picture can save you money by decreasing the amount of design time required for a project.
Step 2: Take measurements, the more the better (i.e. width, height, depth, sizes of separate faces, base sizes, retainer size, under-clearance, etc.). If you are building a sign for the first time, yourmeasurements will be of something on the same plane. These measurements are useful for the rendering process so we can accurately depict how the finished product is going to look to scale.
Other questions to note: is the current sign illuminated? If so, can you tell if it is lit with fluorescent lamps or LED's? What materials are used?
If this information isnot accessible, no worries! Our expert team of service technicians will gladly come by to take a look and offer their opinions on what will and will not work for your location.
Step 3: We create an artwork rendering to scale so you can see as close as possible what the final outcome will be

Signs Etc is experienced in navigating the rules and regulations required to submit forms and drawings to the various planning and building departments in Missouri and beyond.
We use either the approved artwork we designed for you or your detailed drawings to submit the proper application to the City Planning and Building Department. (Please keep in mind that the timeframe once the application is submitted is out of our hands and we cannot start production of your project until we have written approval from the city.)
Once we have received the written approval we are ready to start production of your sign and will provide you with a estimated timeframe to completion.

Design is one of the most important steps in the creation of your final product. As an astute graphic artist, we follow this series of steps before beginning the actual design work to ensure delivery of the exact outcome you are expecting.
Step 1: Briefing in person, over the phone or by email.

Step 3: We present the second draft for your approval. Now you are ready to relax while we work hard to deliver the final product! The designer passes the design on to production including any special instructions from the client.
